Schema
How the site's content fits together: the content types, the fields they all share, and the vocabularies and types that classify them.

Reading the diagram:
base (grey) is the set of fields every content type shares — title, thumbnail, description, introduction, content, components, and the metadata such as owner, intent, goal and stage. Only what a type adds on top is listed in its own box.
CONTENT TYPE boxes (blue) are the kinds of page; see Content types. Article, Event and Resource carry a published date, topics, audiences and related content; Event adds its start date; FOI disclosure adds the request details.
VOCAB boxes (green) are taxonomies — see Taxonomies. Unit, Goal, Intent and Stage are referenced from the shared metadata fields; Event type and Resource type classify their content type.
Topic, Audience and Article type are content types rather than vocabularies, so they have pages of their own that list what references them.
The diagram is drawn with PlantUML: open it on plantuml.com to edit it.
Not shown, for legibility: the Language content type, the banner and attachment fields in base, and the vocabularies that do not classify pages (Media tags, Pattern, Promotion type).
