# Webform managers

Webform managers build the site's forms: create, edit and delete webforms, add elements, set validation, configure confirmation pages and the email or other handlers that run on submit. The screens are described in [Webforms](/convivial-for-govcms/content-editing/webforms.md).

They can also read and delete submissions, which may contain personal information, so give this role only to people who need it. To let someone read responses without changing the forms, give them [Submission viewers](/convivial-for-govcms/roles/submission-viewers.md) instead.
