# Themers

Themers change the look of the site — skins, colours, typography, fonts, icons and patterns — from the theme settings page, without a developer. They also add **Font** and **Icon** media and manage the **Pattern** vocabulary.

Themers do not edit content or structure; the role is usually given to one or two people who look after the site's brand. Everything they work with is described in [Theme settings](/convivial-for-govcms/theme-settings.md).
