# Managers

Managers look after user accounts. They cannot edit content.

## List users

*Manage → People* (`/admin/people`) lists every account. Filter by name or email, role and status, then use **Edit** in the row.

## Add and edit users

*Manage → People → Add user* (`/admin/people/create`) creates an account. Set a username and email address, tick the **Roles** the person needs, and tick **Notify user of new account** so they receive an email with a one-time login link — you do not need to send them a password.

To edit an existing user, open them from the people list. The same form lets you change roles, reset the password, or set **Status** to *Blocked* to disable the account without deleting it. Prefer blocking to deleting: deleting a user also has to decide what happens to the content they authored.
