Authenticated users
Every logged-in user, whatever other roles they hold. Logging in gives you a profile page, the ability to change your own details, and the admin toolbar.
View your profile
After logging in you land on your user page at /user. It shows a dashboard of the content you are responsible for:
Overdue reviews — content owned by your unit whose Review by date is today or in the past.
Upcoming reviews — content owned by your unit with a Review by date in the future.
Recent edits — content you edited recently.
Recent owned updates — recent changes to content owned by you.
Edit your profile
Click your username in the toolbar and choose Edit profile, or go to /user and use the Edit tab. Here you can change your email address, password, and time zone.
The admin toolbar
The black toolbar at the top of every page appears once you are logged in. If you cannot see it, click Manage in the top left. The items shown depend on your roles.
Manage opens the administration menu. The items you will use most:
Content — every piece of content on the site, plus the media library and the content reports.
Structure → Menus — site navigation.
Configuration → Search and metadata → URL redirects.
The toolbar also shows which environment you are on. Production is red; development and test environments use other colours. Check it before editing — changes on a test environment are not carried to production.
