Approvers
Approvers sign content off. They see everything an Author sees, plus the transitions that make content public or take it down. Most Approvers also hold the Author role so they can fix small things themselves rather than send a page back.
Finding content to review
Manage → Content → Moderated content (/admin/content/moderated) lists everything that is not published, grouped by workflow state. Filter by Moderation state: Needs review to see what Authors have handed over; the Revision log message column tells you what they changed.

What to check
Open the page and use Preview, or view the draft directly — as an Approver you see unpublished content. Before publishing, check:
Title and Description — do they make sense on their own, in a search result or a card, without the page around them?
Headings — Heading 2 for sections, Heading 3 beneath; no bold text standing in for a heading.
Links — do they go where they say, and does the link text describe the destination?
Images — alternative text that describes the image, and a Thumbnail if the page will appear in lists.
Menu and address — is the page under the right parent, and is the URL what it should be? If a published page was renamed, is there a redirect from the old address?
Components — every component has a Heading (hidden if need be), and the page still reads correctly on a phone.
Dates and metadata — Last updated, Published date on articles, Owner and Review by.
Nothing that should not be public — draft notes, placeholder text, internal names.
The Accessibility chapter has the fuller checklist behind the heading, link and image items.
Publishing or sending back
Under Change to in the sidebar choose Published, or Draft to send it back — with a Revision log message that says what needs to change, since that message is what the Author sees. The states and every transition are described in Workflow.

Taking content down
Archived takes a published page off the site while keeping it for reference; Restore and Restore to Draft bring it back. Archive rather than delete, and add a redirect from the old address to the closest replacement — see URL redirects.
Reverting revisions
Approvers can Revert a page to an earlier revision from its Revisions tab — this creates a new revision, so nothing is lost. See Revisions.
Deleting media
Approvers can delete any media item, not just their own. Deleting media breaks every page that uses it, so prefer unpublishing — see Delete media.
What Approvers cannot do
Approvers cannot delete content — archive it instead — and cannot change site structure, users or the theme; those belong to the Structure, Manager and Themer roles.
