# Introduction

*Version 5.0 · September 2026*

This guide is designed to help you navigate and use a website built with Convivial for GovCMS. It is organised in six sections:

* [Site structure](/convivial-for-govcms/site-structure.md) — how the site is put together: content types, components, menus, taxonomies and blocks.
* [Concepts and tools](/convivial-for-govcms/concepts-and-tools.md) — ideas that run through the whole site.
* [Roles](/convivial-for-govcms/roles.md) — what each kind of user can do; find yours.
* [Theme settings](/convivial-for-govcms/theme-settings.md) — for Themers.
* [Content editing](/convivial-for-govcms/content-editing.md) — creating pages, media, workflow, webforms, the editor and the component reference.
* [Support](/convivial-for-govcms/support.md) — where to go for help.

Conventions used in this guide:

* Menu paths are written as *Manage → Content*.
* Field names and button labels are written in **bold**.
* URLs are relative to the site, e.g. `/admin/content`.
* Screenshots show the demo site; your site's content and colours will differ but the forms are the same.
